Cocktail Street 2024: a golden edition!
In this Olympic year, the latest Cocktail Street, held from September 28-30, 2024, at Paris's Grande Halle de la Villette alongside the 20th Whisky Live Paris, could have embraced the Olympic motto: "Faster, Higher, Stronger."
While just a few weeks ago the venue welcomed medalists and supporters within Club France, now over 30,000 cup athletes have roamed the ever-windy aisles of this record-breaking Cocktail Street: 3 intense days, 72,000 cocktails served, more than 50 pop-up bars, and 13 street food stands competing for the public's favor.
As every year, Cocktail Street has been the perfect playground for cocktail enthusiasts and foodies seeking new sensations. While some big names like Bombay Sapphire and Cointreau were missing this year, the most prominent brands and bars from France, such as Danico with its mini Disco Club and Cambridge Public House, made the trip, competing in creativity like athletes on the podium to concoct bold mixes that highlight their partner spirits (Anaë, Fords Gin, Jack Daniel's, Woodford Reserve...).
This year, a special guest made a splash: Kevin Kos. The social media star mixologist captivated the audience with his creations that combine innovative techniques and quality (Italian) ingredients. Like a gold medalist, he offered astonishing cocktails that raised the temperature of the venue, proving that the art of mixology is a sport in its own right.
On the liquid side, a special mention goes to the Fever Paloma by Rémi Massai, which combined tequila, Espelette pepper, and toasted buckwheat agave syrup, with the new Fever Tree grapefruit. Absolutely delicious!
Just like the Big Apple Manhattan by Benjamin Flavigny at Maker's Mark with its apple juice reduction, red wine, and spices.
Another notable event was the cocktail bar Experimental Cocktail Club Val d’Isère, set to open at the end of the year by the Experimental Group, which was previewed during Cocktail Street. Its decor, a clever mix of American lodge spirit and Savoyard chalets, transported visitors to the foot of the slopes in a lively atmosphere (especially on Saturday night). On this occasion, participants could taste the first version of the cocktail menu, highlighting Nikka Whisky whiskies and spirits.
And to top it all off, a dynamic team of restaurateurs, a true dream team of gastronomy, delighted visitors with delicious and tempting creations. Selected by the Food Market, these thirteen street food stands offered dishes that were as varied as they were delicious, adding a touch of indulgence to this already energetic event. With a spirit of sharing and discovery, everyone could indulge their senses and experience a memorable time!
Looking forward to next year, from September 27 to 29, 2025.
