Santoni unveils L'Aperitivo, the contemporary evolution of Amaro Santoni
Famiglia Santoni has unveiled Santoni L'Aperitivo, a renewal of its bitter-sweet aperitif born in Florence, designed for contemporary mixology and presented in a brand-new bottle inspired by Florentine architecture.
Famiglia Santoni, a distillery active since 1960, unveiled Santoni L'Aperitivo, a contemporary evolution of Amaro Santoni that opens a new chapter in the interpretation of the Italian aperitivo ritual.
Born in Florence and crafted in Tuscany, this bitter-sweet aperitif (16% ABV) keeps rhubarb as the house's signature ingredient, defining both its aromatic profile and its natural color. Around it, a composition of 34 botanicals, including iris and olive leaf, symbolically linked to Florentine tradition, lets floral softness, citrus freshness, and herbal nuances coexist harmoniously.

Conceived as a design object, the new 700ml fluted red glass bottle recalls the rhubarb-inspired color and the geometries of Florentine architecture: its silhouette takes inspiration from the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore, while the shape of its label references the carved panels of the Baptistery doors.
"Santoni L'Aperitivo was created to offer a contemporary interpretation of the aperitivo ritual. A natural evolution of our bitter-sweet signature, designed to engage with a new international aperitivo culture," said Stefano Santoni, CEO of Famiglia Santoni.

Built for contemporary mixology, the product highlights four perfect serves: Santoni Paloma, Santoni & Tonic, Santoni Spritz, and Negroni Rosa.
Officially launched on May 4, 2026, at Casa Santoni, in the heart of Tuscany, it will be progressively rolled out across key international markets throughout the year.
