Maybe Sammy in Sydney Named Number One in the 2023 Top 500 Bars!
The Top 500 Bars ceremony was held in Paris on Sunday. After the final ranking was revealed, Maybe Sammy from Sydney claimed the top spot worldwide! Meanwhile, seven French bars secured a spot in the Top 100.
Maybe Sammy outperformed Double Chicken Please in New York, coming in second (just as it did in the 50 Best Bars), while Paradiso in Barcelona placed third (instead of fourth, as in the 50 Best Bars).
As for France (or more precisely, Paris), seven bars from the capital appear in the Top 100:
- Little Red Door (4th)
- Danico (35th)
- The Cambridge Public House (60th)
- Le Syndicat (68th)
- Moonshiner (81st)
- Candelaria (83rd)
- Le Mary Celeste (86th)
