Tokyo Confidential has unveiled Konbini Confidential, a new menu inspired by the lore of Japanese convenience stores. Whether guests are team FamilyMart, Lawson loyalists, or drawn to 7-Eleven, the menu draws on the appeal of the 24-hour, one-stop shops that supply everything from sandos and highballs to WiFi and ATMs. It marks the fourth menu for the bar, following Neko No Densetsu and Second Base.

"Our guests are a mix of locals and visitors, so we wanted our menu to represent a part of Japanese culture that's uniting and loved by guests of all backgrounds," said Founder and Creative Director Holly Graham. "When you're visiting Tokyo, you may seek out a konbini to try the viral snacks you see all over the Internet, but living here you realize how much of your everyday life they become."

Many of the drinks sit in the savory, umami realm. The Confidential Noodle is a Cup Noodle-inspired highball with bourbon, awamori, mango, corn and a house noodle packet blend, served in a custom 3D printed mug. The Onigiritini is a savory martini built on a sake base, rice shochu, seaweed and soy sauce.

"I love creating cocktails inspired by food, so this menu was a lot of fun to work on," said Bar Manager Waka Murata. "Whenever I create a cocktail based on a dish, I first break it down into its core ingredients, then figure out how to translate each of those elements into liquid form."

On the sweeter end, the Melon Pan combines custom melon pan flavored Doburoku, TC's house Butter Up Sake and rum, while the Always Sunny in Azabu is a mikan popsicle-inspired smash with gin, Mikanshu, Yakiimo shochu and citrus. The lineup also includes highballs, chu-hais and TC Classics, alongside draft Guinness joining the bar's Fernet Branca on tap.
