Combat and Chung King Noodles team up for a one-night-only event
Paris bar Combat welcomes Ash Lee, the chef behind Berlin-based Chung King Noodles, on Jan. 29 for a one-night-only pairing of Sichuan-spiced noodles and bold, umami-packed cocktails.
Combat, the bar on rue de Belleville in Paris co-founded by Margot Lecarpentier, is hosting a one-night collaboration with Chung King Noodles from Berlin. The event, Noodles & Cocktails, is on January 29 and kicks off at 6 p.m.
Ash Lee, the chef behind Chung King Noodles, will serve a special menu starting with pickled radish with purple shiso and a shrimp cocktail with a Chinese-style tomato sour sauce, followed by Chungking noodles—including a vegan mushroom option—with three spice levels to choose from.
Behind the bar, the Combat team has put together a cocktail list with Asian influences. Highlights include: a Burnt peanut & fish sauce daiquiri (rum, fish sauce, peanut, lime, sugar), an MSG wet martini (white vermouth, fino sherry, gin, MSG, zest), a zero-proof Frozen ube latte (ube, verjuice, berries, pineapple, lemon, jasmine), and a Pickle michelada riff, available in either an alcoholic or zero-proof version.

Moutai France is also partnering on the event, bringing a selection of its top baijiu bottlings. The Combat team will serve it Chinese-style as a Moutai baijiu pickleback, with spicy pickled radish brine on the side.
🕕 Thu., Jan. 29, 2026 — starting at 6 p.m.
