More predictably, according to a study by Paragon Brands conducted in April among 2000 Britons, alcoholic Slushies will be the star drink of the summer, favored by 24% of respondents and up to 47% among Gen Z. One third (34%) of respondents generally prefer frozen cocktails over classic versions, finding them more refreshing for 61% of them (which is probably self-evident) - Source
Sustainable Bars
In another style, if you're looking for ideas to reduce your environmental footprint in your bar, Barmag has listed 10 commandments to help you in your task. Among these, for example, is working with as many artisanal, local, and organic products as possible, recycling waste intelligently (e.g. lemon zests, peels, discarded glasses...), saving ice by loading less into mixing glasses and storing glasses in the fridge, or ordering spirits in bulk. - Source

🥼 DIY
Fat Wash 2.0
For Vinepair, GN Chan (Double Chicken Please) described an original way to perform the fat wash technique, not to impart the flavor of a fatty substance to a spirit (e.g. bacon etc.), but rather by using fat (butter here) to first extract flavors from other ingredients (e.g. cinnamon, coffee, mushrooms, ...), and then using this infused (and filtered) fat to flavor a spirit. Clever! - Source
