The iconic Parisian Bar Les Ambassadeurs at Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, will unveil the second instalment of its latest cocktail menu series, ‘A Sense of Memories’ on Sunday 28th September. Designed by Arnaud Volte and his team to evoke the nostalgia of treasured moments of the autumn and winter seasons, the new menu showcases 15 signature cocktails, which invite guests on a sensory journey into the realms of their imagination.

The new cocktail offering will capture the essence of Autumn and Winter through a selection of seasonal and local ingredients. This second volume marks an evolution of the first menu with cocktails progressing in step with the seasons through innovative serves created with carefully selected French produce. Through the art of storytelling, each cocktail evokes cherished memories, from warm gingerbread cookies on Christmas day to the delicate breeze of the first days of autumn.

The ‘Sense of Memories’ menu continues to build on Bar Les Ambassadeurs reputation as one of Paris’s most innovative and unique destination cocktail bars. Each creation is accompanied by an artistic illustration, inviting guests to interpret the serve through their imagination and embark on a truly immersive experience.

For an escape into the autumnal wilderness, Forest captures the memories shared during a walk through the chilly outdoors by combining Glenfiddich 12-year-old Whisky with Shiitake Mushrooms, Honey, Peat, Soya, Pine and Bitters. Thanksgiving captures the spirit of the holidays with loved ones, with Michter’s Bourbon and Sweet Vermouth infused with Chicken Skin and Cranberry. Finally, for the perfect autumnal embrace, Harvest mixes Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony with Vermouth, Honey, Madeira, Spelt, Verjus and a Kvass made from spelt to bring the scents of nature to your glass with each sip, encapsulating the first chills of winter. 

For those reminiscing on the magical moment of the festive season, Gingerbread is a smooth and comforting blend that can also be enjoyed as a non-alcoholic cocktail. The alcoholic version is a delicious mix of Rémy Martin VSOP Cognac with Spices and Gingerbread Soda; alternatively, the non-alcoholic serve mixes Tanqueray 0%, Spices and Gingerbread Soda. Christmas honours the magic of a chilly Christmas day with Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, Calvados, Chestnut, Honey, Cinnamon and Pear. Lastly, Hot Chocolate is a decadent treat for cold winter days, blending Flor De Caña 12YO Rum with Chocolate, Spices, and Chipotle. It can also be enjoyed as a non-alcoholic drink that swaps the rum for the delicious Seedlip Garden. New Lunar Year is a blend which pays homage to ancestral traditions and dancing lanterns, combining Camus VSOP Borderies Cognac washed with Duck Fat, Spices, Honey and Soya. 

For a taste of snow-covered landscapes, Mountains is created with Roku Gin, Quince, Verjus, Gentiane, Elderflower and Green Chartreuse. Seaside balances Haku Vodka, Manzanilla Sherry, Vermouth Bianco with Seaweed, Coffee Bitters and topped with Tonic Water to recreate the deserted seashore during the colder months. Flowers evokes the scent of a forgotten flower through a delicious mix of Frapin VSOP Cognac, Tonka Beans, Vanilla, Muyu Vetiver, PX Sherry, Cocoa Bitter, Myrtle and Chai. Trees brings the serene beauty of snow-covered branches, blending Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Homemade Vermouth, Pecan Nuts and Cacao. 

For those looking to celebrate the seasons with decadent treats, Friendship encapsulates whimsical snowball fights and walks by blending Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Pecans, Homemade Vermouth and Cacao. It’s rich, comforting, and ideal for sharing with those closest to you. Birthday Cake is a nostalgic and sweet cocktail blending Ketel One Vodka with Mascarpone, Ladyfingers, Coffee, White Cacao, Cream and Cherry. Fun-Fair combines Hendrick’s Gin, Candy Apple, Calvados, Sauternes, Citrus and Champagne to embody the memories of a winter funfair. Finally, Greeting Card blends Zacapa 23 Rum, Walnut, Dry Curaçao, Pear, Clementine, Spices and Clarified Milk to evoke the memories behind handwritten cards and scented letters received during the festive season.
