Paradiso Sustainability Summit set to return in 2025
Paradiso founder Giacomo Giannotti will host the fourth edition of the educational event on Sunday 30th March at Barcelona’s Palo Alto, uniting the pioneers of the global drinks industry to tackle the most pressing issues of environmental and social sustainability.
January 2024 – Giacomo Giannotti, founder of Barcelona’s acclaimed cocktail bar Paradiso, has announced that the fourth annual Paradiso Sustainability Summit, in partnership with Ketel One, will be held on Sunday 30th March 2025. Returning to the city’s multifaceted green event space Palo Alto, the seminars and masterclasses will be accompanied by a public cocktail festival designed to showcase the finest sustainable brands, bars and cocktails from around the world.
The stimulating programme of seminars and events will feature some of the biggest names and brightest sparks of the global bar community, uniting them in Spain’s undisputed cocktail capital to share their insight and experience to drive meaningful change within the industry. The curated programme will also address issues of “Social Sustainability”, exploring topics such as diversity, inclusivity and empowerment, alongside our greatest environmental challenges.

In 2024, the Paradiso Sustainability Summit saw over 1,500 attendees enjoy more than 24 hours of sustainable programming, featuring several venues from The World’s 50 Best Bars list including Himkok, Tres Monos, Alquímico amongst many others alongside some of Barcelona’s most exciting concepts such as Creps Al Born and Dr. Stravinsky.

About Giacomo Giannotti:
Originally from Tuscany, Giacomo Giannotti moved to Barcelona in 2012 where he worked behind the Eclipse Bar at the W Hotel and later at the Ohla Hotel, where he learned the secrets of the hospitality industry from maestro Giuseppe Santamaria. In 2015, Giannotti fulfilled his dream of owning his own bar when he opened Paradiso, a speakeasy style cocktail bar that seamlessly blends the tradition of mixology with a young and fun atmosphere. Following, the success of Paradiso he opened Galileo in 2020 a cocktail bistro with an industrial-chic interior and Monk in 2022 a cocktail bar hidden within a supermarket in Carrer Abaixadros. Finally in 2024, Giacomo Giannotti took the Paradiso brand global when he opened Paradiso Dubai and Paradiso Ibiza. In addition to his work in cocktail bars, Giannotti is active across the international drinks industry traveling the world to host masterclasses and guest shifts.
