The French national final round of the Diplomático Artisans of Taste 2026 competition named its winners in Paris on Monday, February 2.

Álvaro Estrella and Nam Goma, bartenders at the Paris bar Dirty Dick, took top honors with their cocktail El Libertador. The drink features Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, a cocoa, pandan, and coconut soda, toasted coconut foam, house-made bitters, and a pandan leaf garnish. It impressed a panel that included bartender Arnaud Scotty of Harmony (Paris), Maestro Ronero Nelson Hernández, chocolatier Edwin Yansané, and Laurence Marot, Academy Chair for France at the 50 Best Bars.

The People’s Choice Award went to Bordeaux-based duo Mathilde Olive and Swann Nivet.
