## PARADISO IN BARCELONA CROWNED WINNER OF THE RÉMY MARTIN LEGEND OF THE LIST AWARD AT THE 50 BEST BARS 2026

*The House of Rémy Martin honors lasting excellence and destination craft in mixology at the industry's premier global gathering*

Rémy Martin, the renowned Cognac House with over three centuries of heritage and Official Cognac Partner of The 50 Best Bars since 2019, is proud to announce that Paradiso in Barcelona, Spain, has received the prestigious Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award. Presented during The 50 Best Bars ceremony in Milan, Italy, the award celebrates bars whose lasting influence, creativity, and commitment to hospitality have helped shape modern cocktail culture.

Crowned The World's Best Bar in 2022 and led by Giacomo Giannotti and his team, Paradiso stands out for its enduring contribution to cocktail culture, creative vision, and unwavering commitment to hospitality and craft. Since opening in Barcelona's El Born in 2015 behind a pastrami shop's fridge door, the venue has continued to pioneer mixology through its Paradiso Lab and annual Sustainability Summit. With this distinction, Rémy Martin celebrates Paradiso's influence and legacy, succeeding Athens' Baba au Rum (2025 winner) on the prestigious roster of Legend of the List recipients.

Reflecting the House's deep commitment to terroir and cultural origin, Alquímico in Cartagena, Colombia, was also awarded The Best Bar in South America 2026, sponsored by Rémy Martin.

Beyond the main stage, Rémy Martin showcased cognac's versatility in modern mixology. At the awards ceremony, the House presented an exclusive cocktail bar hosted by Sweden's Röda Huset (Stockholm), serving bespoke Rémy Martin VSOP highballs and spirit-forward serves made with local ingredients. Spotlighting the artistry of the global bar community, Rémy Martin also captured portraits and interviews with leading international bartenders during the ceremony, while sister brand Cointreau presented the signature red scarves ceremony as Official Orange Liqueur Partner.

To close the week on Thursday evening, Röda Huset hosts a celebratory Rémy Martin guest shift at Giardino Cordusio honoring the global bar community.
