# The Bartender Beach Challenge is back for its second edition!

## Sea air and cocktails!

It’s official, the competition, which aims to showcase and unite French bartending talent, is back for a brand-new edition! This year, the theme is: *"A taste of the sea in our cocktails—starting in Brittany and beyond..."*

When it comes to organizing, we're sticking with the same winning team: [**Augustin Algret**](https://www.instagram.com/augustinalgret/?ref=jiggerdaily.com), [**Charly Robert**](https://www.instagram.com/tcharls/?ref=jiggerdaily.com) and [**Matteo Rio**](https://www.instagram.com/matteorio/?ref=jiggerdaily.com) from the restaurant [**La Potinière**](https://www.instagram.com/lapotiniere1930/?ref=jiggerdaily.com) (Carnac), in partnership with [**Cozigou**](https://www.cozigou.com/?ref=jiggerdaily.com).

Up for grabs is a trip for two to a European capital—flights and accommodations included—for the grand winner!

Here’s everything you need to know to take part in the new [**Bartender Beach Challenge 2024**](https://www.instagram.com/bartenderbeachchallenge/?ref=jiggerdaily.com)!

## A competition for everyone, in two stages

It’s open to all bartenders in France, no matter what type of establishment you work in... the competition will take place in two stages.

First, candidates must post a photo or reel of their cocktail on Instagram, accompanied by its recipe (see below for the complete list of approved ingredients) and a description that ties into the theme.

The 10 best creations will then be selected for the final, which will be held on July 1 in Carnac.

On the big day, the finalists will present their cocktails to a panel of professionals aboard a private catamaran sailing in the Gulf of Morbihan.

Then the top 4 will gather at **La Potinière** for a final challenge that will determine the overall winner.
